So the approvals are back! The Etsy listing updated and the order confirmed! Things are rolling.

I’ve purchased all the materials needed from the hardware store. I’ll be picking this up tomorrow. Just in time for me to begin manufacturing on the weekend. Stoked!

I’ve also sent in the 3D printed part to the Printers! Should receive that back by Saturday or so. I’ve improved on the design of this part so that it fits much tighter and no longer has any gaps around the finish. Though I’ve opted to make this part in ABS rather than PLA. I have not yet printed with ABS before (but I heard it is more flexible and machinable than PLA). I think most people stay away from ABS due to the difficulty in printing with part tolerances. In my case, tolerances don’t really matter.
