I’ve made an assembly video for the Pyramid Head cosplay I recently sold on my Etsy Shop. See below for the full assembly instructions (should take you about 25-30 min of assembly time):

Shipping is often overlooked by new businesses and startups. But it’s actually one of the most important things to review and plan for. I actually custom designed my shipping box so that I could ship as efficiently as possible. Often, if you are stuck using a standard box, you end up filling it with too much filler, and you pay (and charge) too much for what you’re shipping.
So I’ve completed the Made-to-Order Pyramid Head helmet for a Silent Hill Stage Production commissioned through my Etsy Shop.
Here’s the Recap. I built most of the structure & was ready for paint just this past Weekend.

With the materials all unpacked and ready to be assembled, today’s build day started out with a bang … or rather a high pitched hum of the Dremel saw.
As per Jenny by-law (of which I haven’t been able to find in writing yet), the noise making was allowed to start at 11am. That’s pretty much when I started laying out the wooden frame patterns. Continue reading DropBOB commissioned project – Pyramid Head – Built & Ready for paint!
So the approvals are back! The Etsy listing updated and the order confirmed! Things are rolling.
I’ve purchased all the materials needed from the hardware store. I’ll be picking this up tomorrow. Just in time for me to begin manufacturing on the weekend. Stoked!
I’ve always setup my computer to be woken up from sleep via an app on my phone (Wol Wake on Lan Wan by Brobble, for anyone interested). But yesterday, I thought, I should just make a button that sits on my couch side table … that’s really where this button should be.
I use my computer as a media manager (using Plex, another app, to manage and stream to my smart TV). As I was thinking out loud that I wanted such an “Easy” button … I realized that I already had all the parts needed to make this happen.
So, I’ve completed the Design of the Pyramid head Cosplay that was requested . Below are the approval drawings created.

So I’ve been busy working on finishing the Model and coming up with a good set of Approvals/Layouts for my commissioned Pyramid Head Cosplay. It’s been a real hit on my Etsy Page
I’m not quite happy with these yet, but it’s a start. I often berate the drafters at my “other job” for having terrible drawings … but making drawings from scratch is hard. Especially when the information you want to convey/receive is not fully defined yet.

I’ve been working on upgrading my cold brew coffee maker for the PRO scene. I wanted a more robust and flexible model and I think this going to be my next prototype. Feel free to grab the model below and rotate and explore! I’ve designed this with the user in mind and I wanted a fully interactive user experience, right out of the gate! No holds barred!
