So I’ve finished the design of my interface board between the ESP32 and my Cold Brew Coffee Maker PRO. It was mostly complete a little while ago, but I had not yet done the design checks for this new awesome service I discovered. I was searching for a simple and affordable board printing service. There are a bunch, I know, but I really do like this one: dorkbotpdx.org which runs their orders through oshpark.com.
Is a “last come, first served” model of getting things done better than a “first come, first served” model?
I started the Lego block build for a customer in California. They selected a size 6, blue Lego block.
So it turns out the Helmet was too big for my customer. The measurements seemed fine, and they were the same measurements as my own head so I thought it would have been perfect …

I’ve made an assembly video for the Pyramid Head cosplay I recently sold on my Etsy Shop. See below for the full assembly instructions (should take you about 25-30 min of assembly time): Hope you enjoy your new DropBOB Original!
Shipping is often overlooked by new businesses and startups. But it’s actually one of the most important things to review and plan for. I actually custom designed my shipping box so that I could ship as efficiently as possible. Often, if you are stuck using a standard box, you end up filling it with too much filler, and you pay (and charge) too much for what you’re shipping. So when I was designing the merchandise, I fully thought out the packing and shipping situation, all in virtual reality!
So I’ve completed the Made-to-Order Pyramid Head helmet for a Silent Hill Stage Production commissioned through my Etsy Shop. Here’s the Recap. I built most of the structure & was ready for paint just this past Weekend.
With the materials all unpacked and ready to be assembled, today’s build day started out with a bang … or rather a high pitched hum of the Dremel saw. As per Jenny by-law (of which I haven’t been able to find in writing yet), the noise making was allowed to start at 11am. That’s pretty much when I started laying out the wooden frame patterns.
So the approvals are back! The Etsy listing updated and the order confirmed! Things are rolling. I’ve purchased all the materials needed from the hardware store. I’ll be picking this up tomorrow. Just in time for me to begin manufacturing on the weekend. Stoked!
